Media training to prepare you for your interviews by ex BBC and CNN journalists
Many of the world’s very best press spokespeople consider retraining around once a year, to ensure that they stay fresh, engaged and focused with their subject matter. Ultimately, the benefit of media training is that the spokesperson is able to maximise any interview opportunities as they arise.
Peek offers media training sessions for individuals and groups, both encompassing the benefit of twelve years media facing experience in sometimes hostile conditions, along with the opportunity to engage in filmed skills practice at a number of relevant potential scenarios, drawing upon your own corporate or brand messaging.
You are able to watch your response and chart your progress in responding to situations through the course of the session. At the end of the training, you are each in possession of a series of personalised action points, reflecting both your strengths as a spokesperson and the areas to work upon as you undertake interviews, along with executive summaries of the training itself.
Courses are bespoke for each client to incorporate their own organisational needs and can be timed to fit around the spokesperson or spokespeople’s schedules.
Our media trainers are trained journalists and have spent over 10 years in the BBC working in local radio, regional television, Radio 4 and Radio 5 Live. Their roles included presenting, reporting, producing and live output editing. Their media trained clients include: Lloyds TSB, Friends Provident, Mastercard, Clifford Chance, Dell and Astra Zeneca.
